Refund and Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how to cancel a plan or a project with Morneto, and when you get money back. We publish the rules before anyone pays, so you know them before you commit.
Refunds and cancellation
Effective date: September 22, 2026. This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everything you buy from Morneto LLC, whether you pay online or by invoice.
The short version. Website Care and Website Care Plus: cancel any time, with no long-term contract. To stop a charge, cancel before its billing date. Your plan runs to the end of the month you have paid for, no further month is charged, and we do not refund a month that has started. SEO and marketing, Google Ads management and the monthly part of Full Growth: month to month with 30 days’ written notice to support@morneto.com. A charge dated inside those 30 days is still due, and no new month is charged after them. Care plans paid a year up front: they do not renew for another year. After the twelve months they continue month to month at the normal monthly price until you cancel. Want to stop early and get money back? Email us, when you cancel or later in the prepaid year. We recount the months you have started at the normal monthly price ($97 or $197) and refund the rest, so you give up the two free months. One-time projects: a full refund before work starts. After that, you get back what you paid minus the value of the work delivered. If the work done is worth more than you have paid so far, we invoice the difference. Google Ads spend goes straight to Google, so we cannot refund it.
1. Website Care and Website Care Plus
- No long-term contract. These plans run month to month, and you can cancel any time.
- When charges stop. To stop a charge, cancel any time before its billing date. Your plan then runs to the end of the month you have already paid for, and no further month is charged.
- No refund for a month that has started. Once a billing period has started, we do not refund its charge, in whole or in part.
- Website Care Plus hours. The hour of work included each month does not roll over, and we do not refund unused time.
- Paid a year up front. Section 4 covers those plans, including the partial refund if you end one early.
- When the plan ends. We remove our access to your systems. Everything in your name stays yours, as the Who owns the work section of our Terms of Service describes.
2. SEO, Google Ads and Full Growth plans
This section covers SEO and marketing, Google Ads management and the monthly part of Full Growth. They are business services, and each one starts from a written scope.
- No long-term contract. They run month to month with 30 days’ written notice. Email support@morneto.com and say which plan you want to end. The 30 days start on the day you send that email.
- What you still pay. Any monthly charge whose billing date falls within those 30 days is still due, and we keep working to the end of the month it pays for. No new month is charged after the 30 days end. For example, if your billing date is the 1st and you send your notice on June 20, the charge on July 1 is still due, your plan runs to July 31, and nothing is charged on August 1.
- No refund for a month that has started. Once a billing period has started, we do not refund its charge, in whole or in part.
- Google Ads management. The same rules apply to the monthly fee. If your ad spend in your last month was above $5,000, we invoice the 12 percent for that month after the month ends, with the calculation.
- When the plan ends. We remove our access to your systems. Everything in your name stays yours, as the Who owns the work section of our Terms of Service describes.
3. How to cancel or end a plan
- Website Care and Website Care Plus, online: choose “Manage or cancel a plan” on morneto.com/pay/ and sign in with the email address you subscribed with.
- Website Care and Website Care Plus, by email: write to support@morneto.com and say which plan you want to cancel.
- SEO, Google Ads and Full Growth: email support@morneto.com. That email is your 30 days’ notice, and the 30 days start on the day you send it.
If you ask us in writing to end a plan in some other way, we treat that as a cancellation too, and for the plans in section 2 as your notice, dated the day you send it. We confirm every cancellation by email, with the date your plan ends. We may ask why you are leaving. You do not have to answer, and asking never delays your cancellation.
4. Care plans paid a year up front
- What you pay. You pay ten months’ price for twelve months of Website Care or Website Care Plus, at the start of the prepaid year.
- What happens after twelve months. The plan does not renew for another year. From the thirteenth month it continues month to month at the normal monthly price, $97 or $197, charged on the same date each month, until you cancel, and section 1 then applies. If you do not want it to continue, cancel any time before the prepaid year ends, and nothing more is charged.
- If you cancel during the prepaid year. Your plan runs to the end of the prepaid year and then stops, with no monthly charge after it. Unless you ask to end early, there is no refund.
- Ending early with a partial refund. Email us to ask for this, either when you cancel or at any time later in the prepaid year, including after you have canceled online. Your plan then ends at the end of the plan month in which you send that email. We count each month of the prepaid year you have started at the normal monthly price, and we refund anything you paid above that. For example, if you end in the fourth month, we count four months at the monthly price and refund the price of the other six. The yearly price equals ten monthly payments, so from the tenth month on there is nothing left to refund. You never pay more than the yearly price you already paid.
- Website Care Plus hours. The monthly hour does not roll over, and unused hours are not refunded.
5. One-time projects
This section covers website design and build, landing pages, logo design and the one-time part of Full Growth. Work starts on the start date in your written scope, or earlier if we begin at your request.
- Before work starts: a full refund. If you cancel before we start work on your written scope, we refund everything you paid for that project.
- After work has started: a partial refund. We refund what you paid, less the value of the work delivered up to the day you cancel. A completed stage counts at its price in your written scope. For a stage in progress, we show you in writing what was done, and we agree on the share of that stage with you in writing.
- If the work is worth more than you have paid. Sometimes the work delivered is worth more than the payments made so far. In that case we invoice the difference.
- You keep what you paid for. Work that has been delivered and paid for is yours, as the Who owns the work section of our Terms of Service describes.
- Costs paid to other companies. You pay for hosting, domains, premium plugin licenses and stock photography directly to their providers. Only those providers can refund them, under their own terms.
6. Consulting and hourly work
Consulting and work beyond a plan costs $150 per hour. The first hour is billed in full, then in half-hour steps. We do not refund time that has already been worked. If you paid in advance for hours we have not used, we refund those hours.
7. Google Ads spend
You pay your advertising budget directly to Google. It never passes through us, so we cannot refund it. Any credit or refund of ad spend is between you and Google, under Google’s own terms. Where Google allows one, we help you ask for it. Our management fee follows the rules in section 2.
8. Charges made by mistake
If we charge you by mistake, we refund the difference in full as soon as we have confirmed it. A mistake might be a double charge, a wrong amount, or a charge after your plan has ended.
9. How refunds are paid
- Same method, same currency. We send refunds back to the card or account you paid with, in the currency you paid in. If that is not possible, we pay by bank transfer.
- Timing. We send a refund within 10 business days after we confirm the amount to you in writing. Your bank or card issuer decides how long it then takes to show on your statement.
10. Disputes and chargebacks
If a charge looks wrong, or you are unhappy with the work, please email support@morneto.com before you dispute the charge with your bank or card issuer. We reply within one business day, and we would rather fix a problem directly with you. This request does not limit your right to dispute a charge.
If a dispute is opened, we give the card issuer our records, including your written scope and your acceptance of our terms. We may pause the work connected to the disputed payment until the dispute is resolved.
Nothing in this policy takes away a right you have under the law that cannot be waived.
11. Questions about a charge
Email support@morneto.com with “Billing” in the subject line, and we reply within one business day. Our office is at 1178 Broadway, 3rd Floor, Suite 663, New York, NY 10001. We are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
