The Story of Morneto Founder Bart van Roosevelt
Bart van Roosevelt was born in New York. He spent much of his childhood in a children’s home in The Hague, after his family could not care for him. Growing up without a fixed home taught him early what it means to go unnoticed. As a result, that experience still shapes how Morneto treats every client today. No one gets lost in an account layer, and no project goes quiet after we send the final invoice.
After studying computer science, Bart spent his early career writing code for other companies. In fact, too many of them could not explain why their own websites were invisible in search. That frustration led him to found Morneto, a studio built to make good businesses visible, not just online. Notably, Google’s own Search Central guidelines are a useful starting point on how search visibility actually works. It is the same standard we hold our own client work to.

How we work
Every project has one lead who stays on it from the first call to the handover. There is no account layer between you and the people writing the code. As a result, answers come back the same day, not after an internal round trip.
We write down what we agree. Scope, price and date go in a document before the work starts. When something changes, we amend that document instead of quietly running late.
What we do not do
We do not take on work we cannot staff properly, and we say so early rather than halfway through. Likewise, we do not hand over a site you cannot edit: every build ends with a walkthrough and a written handover.
